Inspired by a deep-seated love for nature and a respect for the local communities, Selous Impala Camp was born out of a desire to create a magical hub of beauty, tranquillity, and sustainability for those seeking a little piece of natural paradise. Nestled along a wooded stretch of the unmistakable Rufiji River within the Nyerere National Park, in Tanzania, come and discover nature, at its finest.

Nyerere National Park
Selous Impala Camp (pronounced “Seluu”) is situated in the Nyerere National Park, previously called Selous Game Reserve. The park was renamed in 2019 in honour of the first president of Tanzania, Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere. Nyerere National Park is the largest national park in Tanzania, and one of the world’s largest wildlife sanctuaries - twice the size of Belgium!
