a) Reservations shall be confirmed in writing (letter, e-mail, or fax)

b) Bookings shall be considered confirmed only when accompanied by a NON-REFUNDABLE 20% deposit.

c) The balance (80%) must be paid 30 days prior to arrival. If a reservation is made within 45 days prior to arrival, full payment is due. For a group booking (3 tents or more), the balance need to be paid 60 days prior to arrival.


Any cancellations of a reservation must be in writing and shall only be effective upon its acknowledged receipt by the Company. Cancellation charges shall be as follows:

a) Charged on invoiced rate for cancellations:
Over 60 days 20%
30 – 59 days: 50%
0 – 29 day: 100%.

b) No refunds are given:
(1) for lost travel time or substitution of facilities,
(2) for itineraries amended after departure,
(3) for circumstances arising beyond the Company’s control necessitating alternative arrangements to be made to ensure the safety and/or further participation and enjoyment of your programme,
(4) if you do not appear for any accommodation, service, sightseeing or trip segment without notifying the Company well in advance, or
(5) if you leave the properties prematurely or miss any scheduled activities or accommodations.


Non residents of Tanzania are required by law to pay in foreign convertible currencies. Payment for extras can be made at the properties by cash. Please bring your passport to prove resident status.
All payments should be made by TT or direct deposit into our bank account.


We cannot be held responsible for road and airstrip conditions, which may at times render access to and from the resort impossible. Any changes made to the initial booking are subject to the conditions and rates, even if caused by weather conditions.


a) The Company and its owners, directors, management and employees shall not be held responsible for any illness, injury or death to persons visiting the resort nor for loss or damage to personal property, however they may be caused.
b) The Company draws your attention to the fact that there are certain inherent risks involved in visiting Selous Impala Camp and that you accept them at your own risk.
c) It is your sole responsibility to take all appropriate medical advice prior to departure as to whether or not you are fit enough to undertake the trip booked.
d) The Company shall not be responsible for risks arising from circumstances which are out of the control of the Company such as environmental pollutants, radio active contamination, nuclear waste, the combustion of nuclear fuel, or toxic, explosive or other hazardous properties of any nuclear component of the same or war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities, civil war, rebellion, government intervention, quarantine, fire, floods.
e) The Company will not assume any liability whatsoever to persons visiting its facilities for any act or omission of the Company done in good faith or arising from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company

b) If the Company is affected by Force Majeure it shall forthwith notify you of the nature and extent thereof.
c) The Company shall not be deemed to be in breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise be liable to you, by reason of delay in performance, or by non-performance, of any of its obligations hereunder to the extent that any such delay or non-performance is due to any Force Majeure.
d) If the Company is affected by Force Majeure it shall be entitled to, and may at its sole and absolute discretion, vary or cancel any reservations or arrangement in relation to the visit. Payment of any refund by the Company to you as a result of the non-performance of any of the Company’s obligations hereunder shall remain in its sole and absolute discretion although the Company shall use its reasonable endeavours to reimburse you where possible. However the Company shall be entitled to deduct from any refund recoverable the reasonable actual and potential costs to the Company of the Force Majeure


These terms and conditions, under the jurisdiction of the Laws of the Republic of Tanzania, govern the relationship between the Company and you, to the total exclusion of any other terms and conditions. No alterations to the terms and conditions may be made by any of the Company’s employees, authorised representatives or agents, unless in writing by an authorised officer of the Company. All decisions and matters subject to the Company’s discretion shall be by an authorised officer of the Company.


All information given in the website, to the best of the Company’s knowledge, correct at the time of going to press but the Company reserves the right to change the same. The photographs reproduced and information provided in this website depict typical scenes experienced and details on each destination; but the subject may not necessarily be seen or experienced while visiting the destination.


If you have any cause for complaint while travelling, you must immediately bring it to the attention of the Company’s local representative or agent who will attempt to resolve the situation. Any outstanding dispute will be settled in the Courts of the United Republic of Tanzania which shall have exclusive jurisdiction thereof.


The payment of the deposit or any other partial payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all provisions of the conditions and general information contained in the terms and conditions. The terms on which you agree to make the reservations cannot be changed unless amended in writing signed by an authorised officer of the Company.


Please be advised to truly appreciate the beauty of the bush, all guests must have a good degree of mobility and not be solely reliant on artificial aids to move around the camp or on and off the vehicles or planes.


Child rates apply between the ages of 6-17 years inclusive

Children sharing with 2 adults are charged at child rate

• Children sharing with 1 adult are charged at adult rate for 1st child, and at child rate for subsequent children

• For their safety, because of the proximity of wild animals in the camps children 12 years or younger must share with at least one adult aged 17 years or older.

• Teenagers aged 13-16 years inclusive in own tent are charged at adult rate for 1st child, and at child rate for subsequent children.

• Children aged 0-6 years not encouraged at Selous Impala Camp, for safety reasons.


Travel insurance is mandatory

Government Taxes and Game Park and Reserve Fees:

Should the government increase or institute new taxes, Selous Impala Camp LTD reserve the right to increase or add it in this agreement accordingly.
